County Superintendent
The focus of our County Schools’ Strategic Planning process is changing from that of Action Planning to implementing our new vision for the organization.
The Action Teams, which completed their 12-week work sessions the end of March, developed 31 concrete plans in five representative strategies – Leadership, Technology, Communication, Education and Family/Community.
Those plans were adopted by the Strategic Planning Team, which met April 18-19.

... planning is not merely projecting. We may choose to continue our inertia or to pursue a different path. Too often, we sacrifice our hopes and dreams to embrace that which is safe, predictable and comfortable. Limiting our thinking to that which is "realistic and attainable" ensures, ironically, a future of mediocrity.
